Today, Saint Patrick’s Day focuses not only on Saint Patrick but on white Irish racial identity. Celebrating racial or religious heritage should be considered acceptable for all ethnic and religious groups including white Christians even if someone is “offended”. Anyone who is against such a celebration because they are “offended” is against freedom of speech and freedom of association.
